LIANA BRAUNE
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
With over 30 years experience in the art and design industry Liana Braune brings a wealth of knowledge to her design projects. Her early passion for painting murals and backdrops led to a 12-year career in Hollywood as a scenic artist and studio art director on films, theatre sets and theme parks. After returning to the UK Liana worked with the founder of the world travelling art gallery and private collection The Museum of Everything to launch it in 2009, and subsequently became collections manager, overseeing the physical care of objects and co-curating and running exhibition installations. She was instrumental in taking the Museum’s exhibitions to Italy, Paris, Moscow and Rotterdam as well as to Frieze Masters, Tate Modern (Exhibition #2 No Soul for Sale 2010) and Hayward Gallery (The Kingdom of Gods and Goddesses, Alternative Guide to the Universe 2013). Liana also worked as an interior designer on residential projects and in 2016 left The Museum of Everything to launch her own interior design and curation company, Zaffera. Her portfolio includes large- scale restaurant and pub projects in and outside London which have received acclaim in the national press.
